Mr. John
Hamilton.
John came to
India as the Managing Director of Cargill Seeds.
He chose to
remain in India when Cargill Seeds shut down operations and he ventured
into real estate. That's how we met. Spark Consultants (which owns
1Peenya.com) created his corporate website.
He gradually
became a friend and guide and opened many doors for me including insisting
that I be a keynote speaker an at Indo American Chamber of Commerce
seminar regarding the Internet.
An
unscrupulous Bangalore based businessman who initially hosted my websites
ran away one day, resulting in all my sites going off the air. I took my
problem to John and he immediately called up the server in the US and
vouched for me. This resulted in my sites being restored and my dealing
directly with the server thereafter.
I moved to
Dubai in 1998 and lost touch with John.
One day, I
heard that he had, tragically and prematurely, passed away.
I will
always remember John for his encouragement and advise and this website is
dedicated to his memory.
